So you are considering having a photography session, or maybe you have already booked? Here are a few tips so things run a bit smoother on the of your family photography session. Let’s get ready for your photography session:
Always remember to pack a drink, even in the middle of winter. Some of the activities will involve walking and running, and little children (and also the big kids) will always get thirsty. It’s also a great way to calm down in case someone falls or there is a melt-down.
If you are considering wearing new shoes, please make sure that you have worn them before your session, and the same for kids, please avoid new shoes because there is nothing more uncomfortable than a blister
Bring along your favorite book, this is a great way to calm down everyone and to record some great interaction within your family. Please remember to pack light as we will be walking and moving around a lot.
Always pack a snack, this is a great way to distract small children, to bribe them and also to make sure that they stay happy and comfortable during the session.
Try to avoid having a busy day if your session is scheduled in the afternoon, over-tired kids will be unhappy and are more likely to be less cooperative.
